Viglacera signed a Principle Contract with Proskills UK on “Building vocational training program in compliance with international standards”

Proskills and Viglacera have held a discussion and evaluation on the study visit, and signed a Principle Contract for “Development of Vocational Training Programs at international level and quality for four areas: Glass, Ceramic Tiles, Granite Tiles, and Sanitary Ware”.

Talking about the role of human resources, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Viglacera, said: "Human Resources Quality is a key factorbuilding and developing training programs for these 4 areas; Train staff, instructors, teachers of Viglacera in buiilding programs, curriculums, methods, training/teaching skills and training quality assessment based on National Occupational Skills Standards; Guide and coordinate with Viglacera in running pilot training programs which have been built based on National Occupational Skills Standards along with assessment. In addition, Proskills will also provide short-term training programs for Viglacera managers at all levels in the UK and/or in Vietnam.

Especially, Proskills will certify Viglacera’s training programs qualified for UK/International standards. Certification will be approved and recognized by the National Skills Academy and/or Proskills.

After certification, Proskills will continue to support Viglacera in maintaining and developing the four vocational training programs: Glass, Ceramic Tiles, Granite Tiles, and Sanitary Ware.

About the cooperation between Viglacera and Proskills, Mr. Jonathan Ledger – Managing Director of Proskills UK Group, said: "We really hope that Viglacera can become a typical model, a pioneer and leader in vocational training in building materials industry with support from General Department of Vocational Training, British Council in Vietnam, and Proskills UK Group. Our cooperation is a two-way cooperation as we learn a lot from Viglacera.”

The Principle Agreement signed between the two parties will form the basis for both sides in developing a long-term training cooperation.
